BRAND NEW ADAMSON GEAR JAMMIN AT ONE LOVE SOUND FEST
December 11, 2009

One Love Sound Festival, the biggest indoor reggae festival in Europe,  took place in the historic Centennial Hall, in Wroclaw, Poland, which is listed as one the great architectural and engineering achievements of the 20th century by UNESCO. On November 14th close to 10,000 people filled the famous venue for the 6th edition of the Festival.

One love is unique in that it features a balance of both international and local artists who are presenting new and ambitious projects which span through many musical styles beyond reggae. Roots, dub, hip-hop, dancehall, and world music, as well as experimental electronic music took center stage.

The sound system for the event was provided by a Czak Music based in Tarnobrzeg, Poland. Czak Music originated as a music instrument and technical equipment store, but has since grown to include a full live sound production division. Czak music has invested in a sizable system for a company of their size, which also happens to be the first Adamson system in the country. David Dohrmann, Applications Engineer at Adamson Europe GmbH, conducted training with Czak earlier this year and is looking into the future optimistically: “It’ll bring deserved attention to the Adamson brand in Poland. Hopefully others, seeing a smaller company being able to make an investment on such high-end brand, and the resulting improvement in audio quality of shows that Czak will put on, will attract other companies- regardless of their size. ” The system sold included a full Adamson turnkey package, with Lab.gruppen amplifiers, and XTA and Mseries processing. The system was demoed and sold by Adamson’s Polish Distributor Megamusic.

One Love Sound festival featured all Adamson speakers. The main stage FOH PA consisted of the complete Czak music Adamson inventory of 24 Y-10s and 6 T21s, with the monitor system including 12 M15’s stage monitors with SX18s and SX Subs used for drum fill.
