Adamson gets a Parnelli nod for the t21 SUb

Adamson Systems Engineering has been nominated for a Parnelli Award. The annual awards applaud achievements in the professional touring industry, specifically focusing on aspects of North American touring such as sound, lighting, staging, video and logistics, as well as the achievements of live event professionals.
Past honourees include companies such as Sound Image, Tour Tech East, and professionals such as Linkin Park’s Tour Manager Mike Amato, FOH Engineer Kenneth “Pooch” Van Druten, Monitor Engineer Kevin “Tater” McCarthy, last year’s Innovator award went to Clair Brothers for their lifetime contributions to the touring industry. This year, Adamson’s T21 Sub has been nominated for the only audio product related award the ‘Indispensible Technology’ Award.
The T21 Sub features two Adamson proprietary 21” dual coil, double spider neodymium Kevlar drivers with Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture™ delivering 6000 watts of continuous power. The T21 Sub has garnered the worldwide reputation for being a musical and punchy workhorse of a sub no large format tour or festival should go without.
Other contenders in the category are: AKG’s DMS 700 Digital Wireless System, Digico’s SD7, Digidesign VENUE system, Kaltman Creations’ Invisible Waves and Lab.gruppen’s PLM Series.
The award winners will be announced on Friday, November 20th at a ceremony being held at the Peabody Orlando, in Florida, scheduled to coincide with the LDI Tradeshow. A panel of judges made up of industry professionals selected the nominees, and the winners have been voted for by subscribers to Front of House Magazine and Projection, Lights & Staging News.
